Question by Anonymous: Are FHA Mortgage Rates Standard from lender to lender?
I guess what I am asking is should I shop around for the best FHA Mortgage rate or will they be exactly the same from lender to lender based on my financial situation and the amount I am borrowing?

All lenders charge the same interest rate on FHA loans. The rates are set by the Federal Housing Administration and apply nationwide.

  1. FHA rates vary from lender to lender. You definitely need to shop your rate! But then again it isn’t just the rate you need to be aware of, but the other charges on the good faith estimate as many of them can vary too.
