Sometimes there is way too much info on the internet – lol – has anyone out there ever actually received a “no down payment” home loan?

Very rare now except for VA loans.

My boyfriend just bought a house with no down payment…he just closed last thursday, may 29th…he had a loan…I believe he just paid the closing costs up front…
We are from Minnesota, it may be different in other states…
Oh, also this was a foreclosed home…
If you have EXCELLENT credit, you may be able to find a lender that will not require a down payment on the home. This does NOT mean you will not have to pay something at closing. Most ‘closing costs’ actually have nothing to do with your loan.
